How Ranking Points Work

Rankings are generated from confirmed results after they are processed. Player and team rankings are tracked separately.

(tier_base + skill_matrix + upset_bonus) * time_decay * visibility + (cumulative placement milestones * visibility)

Match wins earn points

Friendly wins use a skill-matchup lookup table. Tournament wins add a tier base (Gold 150, Silver 100, Bronze 50) on top of the same skill-matchup points.

Recent wins count more

Matches decay over time: 100% in the first 3 months, dropping to 90% in 3–6 months, down to 50% after 9 months.

Only your best matches count

Your ranking is built from your top 50 results from the last 12 months. Below that, matches don't count toward your score.
